All I do is wainscoting which does mean work can be up and down. I don't supplement with other carpentry jobs as I remain entirely focused and set up to provide the very best in my chosen specialty, consistently delivering exceptional results to make a thoughtful difference to your home.

I set up Living Walls Joinery as a specialist wainscoting company long before it became in vogue. Over the years others have popped up, but still I remain the only one dedicated purely to this.

To ensure the very best work, I created a purpose-built mobile workshop. Inside I have a dedicated space and tooling, all designed to produce the most accurate and repeatable wainscoting, cut to the millimetre as if in a factory.

I also carry other purpose modified tooling allowing me to fix wainscoting to all kinds of surfaces, including render, with minimal patching required for a truly superior finish.

All power tools inside are battery powered, with active dust extraction. Noise is shielded from you and your neighbours and the entire area is fully lit with the ability to continue rain or shine, all the while keeping the materials dry and arrow straight.

Having worked in this field for so long, I am able to provide well placed advice and design insights as we design a layout together in your space.

I have collaborated with architects, interior designers, fashion houses, bridal studios, and a huge cross section of the public, each time taking in new ideas and perspectives.

Not only can I complete the installation, I can tailor every wall to produce the look and feel you are looking for on the back of my extensive experience.

My rates are fixed for everyone! I don't adjust prices by suburb or house value. I keep my overheads low, materials premium and prices fair, reasonable and transparent for all.

Having completed many thousands of walls, each unique in their own way. I am simply the most experienced.

Before settling in Australia in 2009 - I originally trained and worked in the UK, where I learned skills from seasoned tradesmen working on period properties and qualifying as a Carpenter & Joiner.

By nature I am friendly and respectful. I do everything I can to work with each customer and your individual situation.

I try to remain mindful of pets, small children, neighbours sensitive to noise and many other factors that may need to be considered along with a genuine respect for your home and belongings, which I take great care not to disturb.

I personally design the mouldings used, with a new pair of profiles for 2026. These designs create the most stunning crisp lines with deep dramatic shadows, drawing out the detailing to make the wainscoting live up to expectations.

You won't find my mouldings in display homes or the local real estate office. You and your guests will notice the difference of truly bespoke and exclusive interior accents that leave a lasting impression.

By offering everything as metre rates this gives us great flexibility of design. If you decide you would like to add or even remove walls from your original plan, this is completely fine as I simply adjust the final invoice to reflect only the walls we complete.

It's fair to say wainscoting doesn't actually cost you money - done correctly, it actually makes you money.

Imagine any of the images on our website (all of which are genuine LWJ completed projects) with the wainscoting removed. It would be a hollowing out of their charm and character, in turn reducing their desirability.

This is case in point we have seen many times over the years. Properties which have languished on the market, only to be given a full wainscoting makeover then relisted and sold at a much higher price a short time later.

This is a well proven way to add significant value to any property with the correct execution.
