“Hello, I’m Jason Alexander — a qualified Carpenter & Joiner who trained on period properties in the United Kingdom. With over 25 years of hands-on experience, I specialise exclusively in the design and installation of authentic, quality wainscoting adding stunning features to a wide range of properties from everyday homes, restaurants and apartment foyers to bridal studios and some of the most prestigious homes on Sydney Harbour & Brisbane.
In addition to my full wainscoting service on the Gold Coast, I also offer professional quality wainscoting in premium DIY kits, custom made to suit your walls - my goal is simple: create balanced, thoughtful installations that turn plain walls into standout features, bringing warmth, elegance and a lasting sense of quality that subtly increases your home’s value.
Every kit is hand-made personally by me (no subcontractors or apprentices). I use a purpose-built workshop, where all cutting and preparation happens. This ensures superior, accurate preparation of each component ready for seamless installation.

Supply & Installation remains available for customers in Brisbane & the Gold Coast. Supplied & installed rates are x2 the metre rates show for each kit.
Stair walls are x2 the installed metre rates due to complexity and additional time needed.

Wainscoting Kits Frequently Asked Questions
What makes your kits and service unique?
I differ from other kits in the market for a number of important reasons.
- Each kit is fully sized to your wall, others simply centre on your wall - if they fit at all.
- By actually preparing every individual piece, I allow you to specify the exact heights and spacing for all key aspects.
- High quality finger jointed pine - no plastic or MDF options.
- Price - I keep my overheads low with minimal margin on each to provide great value.
- Hand-prepared by me as a specialist carpenter with decades of experience.
- Direct assistance by phone or email anytime.
Can I continue the chair rail around corners?
Yes, any kit that has chair rail is supplied with ample additional length to enable mitred cuts around corners or trimming to suit the wall.
Will this save money for me or even a tradesman?
Wainscoting kits cover/save the following steps:
- Time sourcing and transporting materials.
- Cost of material including waste.
- Working through set-out and design.
- Purchasing of additional tools.
- Time cutting each piece.
- Removal of waste.
In most situations, using my pre-made custom wainscoting kits will work out the cheapest option. It is also likely to be the most accurate and professional finish removing any guess work.
Can I get an in-person measure?
I don't offer a measuring service as kits are offered nationally however I am very happy to answer any questions via email, text or phone. Each of these contact methods are listed on the website
Which areas do you cover?
Delivery is available anywhere in Australia - orders are completed and shipped within 5 business days. Full installation services are still available on the Gold Coast and Brisbane.
What if I'm not confident or able to install them?
My kits are excellent for a local handyman or carpenter, allowing you to specify exactly the layout, ensure premium materials and most likely still save substantial money due to the majority of the work and therefore time needed taken care of. All kits are supplied with my installation guide and diagram making it extremely fast and easy to follow for anyone from a basic DIY ability and above.
Can I install onto gyprock or rendered walls?
Yes, my installation guide comes with every order and lists various DIY friendly ways to do this.
I have designed these genuine pine mouldings to cut clean, crisp lines that produce a specific shadow profile optimised for an exclusive, premium finish on completion.
Authentic quality wainscoting doesn't need to be complicated. I make it both easy and affordable without all the fuss.
